Conference Room, Andover Hospital

The aims of the study are:

  • • To introduce Breastfeeding Peer Support
  • • To give an idea of the role of the peer supporter and how it fits in with the other breastfeeding support that is around
  • • To enable health professionals to identify suitable mothers to train as peer supporters and to sign post mothers to the group once it is running
  • • To give a flavour of the style of the training that the peer supporters will have
  • • To introduce the coordinators
  • • To give an opportunity for limited updating about breastfeeding.

Please could as many midwives as possible attend, especially those that work at Shepherd’s Spring and Adelaide Surgeries?

The study is paid for by the DoH and the NCT will provide coffee and cakes in the break!! What more could you want!

Thank you
Paula
